## Scope

This policy applies to all visitors and users of https://randomhadith.com. Random Hadith operates as a read-only platform that does not require registration or account creation.

## Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us — for example, your name, email, and message when you contact us. Like most websites, our servers also automatically record limited technical information:

- IP address (often truncated or anonymised)
- Browser type, version, device, and operating system
- Pages visited, time of visit, and referring URLs
- General geographic location derived from your IP (not precise GPS)

## Cookies & analytics

We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function, plus privacy-respecting analytics (**Google Analytics**, in aggregate). We do not use invasive advertising trackers and we never sell your personal information. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, and control cookies through your browser preferences.

## How data is used, shared & retained

Data is used to respond to enquiries, to operate/secure/improve the site, and to understand usage in aggregate. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information; we may share it only with your consent, with service providers under confidentiality, where required by law, or in a business transfer subject to continued privacy protection. Email correspondence is typically retained for up to 24 months and analytics data for 26 months.

## Your rights & children's privacy

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to request portability, or to withdraw consent. Random Hadith does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
