The Book of Vows
" إِنَّهُ لاَ يَرُدُّ مِنَ الْقَدَرِ وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ "
It does not avert Fate, but is the means by which something is extracted from the miser.
