The Book of Jihad and Expeditions
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ ثُمَّ قَالَ بِيَدَيْهِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الأُخْرَى " احْصُدُوهُمْ حَصْدًا " . وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ قَالُوا قُلْنَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " فَمَا اسْمِي إِذًا كَلاَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ " .
(i) Then be (the Messenger of Allah) said with his hands one upon the other: Kill them (who stand in your way).... (ii) They (the Ansar) replied: We said so, Messenger of Allah! He said: What is my name? I am but Allah's bondman and His Messenger.
