The Book of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief
أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ، أَنَّ نَافِعًا، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَطَعَ يَدَ سَارِقٍ سَرَقَ تُرْسًا مِنْ صُفَّةِ النِّسَاءِ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ .
the Prophet cut off the hand of a thief, who stole a shield, from a portico allocated to women, the price of which was three Dirhams.
