"‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ‏"

Anas bin Malik reported the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) as saying “ I am commanded to fight with the polytheists. The rest of the tradition is to the same effect as mentioned above.”
