General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)
" لاَ يَجْزِي وَلَدٌ وَالِدَهُ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَجِدَهُ مَمْلُوكًا فَيَشْتَرِيَهُ فَيُعْتِقَهُ "
A son does not repay what he owes to his father unless he buys him and emancipates him if he finds him in slavery.
