The Book on Hunting
" اقْتُلُوا الْحَيَّاتِ وَاقْتُلُوا ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالأَبْتَرَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَلْتَمِسَانِ الْبَصَرَ وَيُسْقِطَانِ الْحَبَلَ "
That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Kill snakes and kill Dhut-Tufyatain and Al-Abtar, because they blind the sight and cause abortions of fetuses."
