Chapter 13Hadith 2326

"‏ لاَ يَحْلِفُ عِنْدَ هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ عَبْدٌ وَلاَ أَمَةٌ عَلَى يَمِينٍ آثِمَةٍ وَلَوْ عَلَى سِوَاكٍ رَطْبٍ إِلاَّ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ النَّارُ ‏"

I heard Abu Salamah say: I heard Abu Hurairah say: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'No man or woman swears a false oath beside this pulpit, even if it is for a fresh twig, but he will be doomed to Hell.”
