"‏ لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ ‏"

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah."
