The Book of Pilgrimage
" لاَ تُسَافِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ ثَلاَثًا إِلاَّ مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ "
A woman should not set out on three (days') journey, but in the company of a Mahram.
