حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُمَا - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلاَحُهُ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ ‏.‏

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) forbidding the sale of fruits until their good condition becomes evident and the purchase of dates for dates.
