The Book of Fasting
" الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا "
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The month is like this and like this and like this." (One of the narrators) Muhammad bin 'Ubaid clapped his hands three time to demonstrate it, then he withheld his left thumb the third time.
