The Book of Hajj
" خَمْسُ فَوَاسِقَ يُقْتَلْنَ فِي الْحِلِّ وَالْحَرَمِ الْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ "
"There are five kinds of vermin which may be killed out and inside the Haram: Crows, kites, vicious dogs, scorpions and mice."
