The Book of Drinks
" كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ وَالْبِتْعُ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ "
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] was asked about mead and he said: "Every drink that intoxicates is unlawful," and mead is made from honey.
