Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat): Detailed Rules of Law about the Prayer during Journey
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِتَبُوكَ عِشْرِينَ يَوْمًا يَقْصُرُ الصَّلاَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ غَيْرُ مَعْمَرٍ لاَ يُسْنِدُهُ .
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stayed at Tabuk twenty days; he shortened the prayer (during his stay). Abu Dawud said: No one narrates this tradition with continuous chain except Ma'mar.
