حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ‏.‏

‘Abd Al Rahman bin Safwan said “I asked ‘Umar bin Al Khattab How did the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) do when he entered the Ka’bah? He said “He offered two rak’ahs of prayer.”
