The Book on Hajj
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ ذَكَرْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَىٍّ حَاضَتْ فِي أَيَّامِ مِنًى . فَقَالَ " أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ " . قَالُوا إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَلاَ إِذًا " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ إِذَا طَافَتْ طَوَافَ الزِّيَارَةِ ثُمَّ حَاضَتْ فَإِنَّهَا تَنْفِرُ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا شَيْءٌ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ .
"It was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah that Safiyyah bint Huyai got her menses during the days of Mina, so he said: "Will she prevent us (from departing)?" They said: "She has done (Tawaf) Al-Ifadah/" So the Messenger of Allah said: "In that case there is no harm."
