وَرَوَى شُعْبَةُ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حُلَّةً حَمْرَاءَ ‏.‏ حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ بِهَذَا ‏.‏ وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ كَلاَمٌ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ هَذَا ‏.‏ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا قُلْتُ لَهُ حَدِيثُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَصَحُّ أَوْ حَدِيثُ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ فَرَأَى كِلاَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ صَحِيحًا ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ وَأَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ‏.‏
