حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاَءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَقُولُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَىٌّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ يُسْتَغْرَبُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ .
"While the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was alive, we used to say: 'Abu Bakr, and (then) 'Umar, and (then) 'Uthman.'
