Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى فَخَطَبَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ قَعَدَ قَعْدَةً ثُمَّ قَامَ .
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out on the Day of Al-Fitr or Al-Adha, and delivered a sermon standing up. Then he sat down briefly, then stood up again.”
