حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏ {‏ وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى‏} ‏ قَالَ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ ‏.‏

" And certainly he saw him in another descent" (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 13) imply that he saw Gabriel.
