Arabic:

"‏ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمَرِيضِ إِذَا بَرَأَ وَصَحَّ كَالْبَرْدَةِ تَقَعُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فِي صَفَائِهَا وَلَوْنِهَا ‏"

English:

"The parable of the ill when he is cured and becomes healthy is that of hail that falls from the heavens in its purity and its color."

Arabic:

"‏ إِذَا دَخَلْتُمْ عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ فَنَفِّسُوا لَهُ فِي أَجَلِهِ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ لاَ يَرُدُّ شَيْئًا وَيُطَيِّبُ نَفْسَهُ ‏"

English:

"When one of you visits the ill, then reassure him regarding his lifespan. Indeed that will not repel anything, but it will comfort his soul."

Arabic:

"‏ أَبْشِرْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ هِيَ نَارِي أُسَلِّطُهَا عَلَى عَبْدِي الْمُذْنِبِ لِتَكُونَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"

English:

"Cheer up, for indeed Allah said: 'It is My Fire which I impose upon My sinning slave as his portion of the Fire." (Hasan) Al-Hasan said: "They would hope that the fever that occurred at night would atone for any deficiency caused by sins."
