The Office of the Judge (Kitab Al-Aqdiyah)
" إِنِّي إِنَّمَا أَقْضِي بَيْنَكُمْ بِرَأْيِي فِيمَا لَمْ يُنْزَلْ عَلَىَّ فِيهِ "
I decide between you on the basis of my opinion in cases about which no revelation has been sent down to me.
